Day 1(14-Jan-22): On arrival Addis Ababa GLT representative will meet you at Bole international Airport and transfer to your hotel, after refreshment you will visit the diplomatic capital of Africa, headquarters of the Africa union starting from Holy Trinity Cathedral (The church is constructed in 1955 for the 25 years anniversary of Emperor Haileselassie and painted richly with remarkable biblical and other saint’s story), National museum (home of Lucy hominid skeleton dating back to 3.2 million years). In the afternoon visit important monuments in the city then proceed to Mountain Entoto for panoramic view of Addis Ababa.Overnight hotel Day 2(15-Jan-22): Morning take flight to Bahir Dar and drive to visit the Blue Nile falls (it takes about 1 hour drive and then 20 minute walk, each way). Admire these spectacular falls and amazing views. In the afternoon take a boat trip on Lake Tana to visit a selection of the monasteries hidden on the islands and shores of this sacred lake.  Visit the Zege Peninsula and the monasteries of Azuwa Maryam and Ura Kidane Mehret.

Day 3(16-Jan-22): You will be driven to Gondar (185 Km, 2 hrs. drives) through rural villages, offering wonderful insight into the Amhara culture and you visit to the city classified as a World Heritage site. Gondar was the capital of the kingdom of Abyssinia under the reign of Emperor Fasil (Fasiledes) who built castles, churches and medieval style bathrooms in the 17th c. For 200 years it was the imperial residence and met both the relative greatness of the early emperors as the decline of their past. In the mid-nineteenth century the emperor Teodoros burned the city in retaliation for its people could not forgive that did not have royal blood. You will never again be the capital. Visit the Church of Debre Berhan Selassie, Ethiopia’s most famous and painted ceiling with cherubs. Day 4(17-Jan-22): Morning take flight to Lalibela and Full day to discover the treasures of Lalibela; Your first visit will be to the eleven Rock-hewn Monolithic (carved from a single rock) Churches of Lalibela, The first group of Lalibela Churches includes: Bete Medhanialem, Bete Mariam, Bete Meskel, Bete Denagl and Bete Golgotha Michal, the second group of Lalibela Churches that includes: Bete Gebral, Bete Merquros, Bete 
Emanule, Betelehiam, Bete Aba Libanos and the spectacular cross-shaped

Day 5(18-Jan-22):  Morning take visit the second group of Lalibela Churches that includes: Bete Gebral, Bete Merquros, Bete Emanule, Betelehiam, Bete Aba Libanos and the spectacular cross-shaped St. George Church. In the afternoon attend “Ketera” today Ethiopian Orthodox Christians have celebrated Ketera, the eve of Timket (Ethiopian Epiphany). Day6 (19-Jan-22):  Early in the morning you will attend the festival at ‘Tabot Maderia’, Chants and prayers have stopped during the night but will experience a renewed vitality in the morning. The holy water spraying will begin then. Each Orthodox Christian in Ethiopia believes that baptism is an opportunity to renew his vows. Next, new processions will be organized to accompany the tabots in their respective churches. In the afternoon climb a mountain for Asheten Maryam church. Mountain Asheten is also worthy for a panoramic view of Lalibela, the 13th century AD Semi- Monolithic Church of Asheten Mariam (2hrs ride per way). Overnight hotel

Day 7(20-Jan-22):In the morning, transfer to the airport for the return flight back to Addis Ababa, visit Mercato, one of Africa’s largest outdoor markets and enjoy shopping in the city. Evening we will have fare well dinner in one of the Ethiopian restaurant for cultural dances from the different ethnic groups, and then transfer to the airport fly back home.
